Bell Tower Installation

Bell Ringer Grant from ToddWadena Electric Coop

The Todd Wadena Electric Coop awarded the Staples All Veterans Park a $1,183 grant to used for the construction of a bell tower. The tower will support the 100 year old steam locomotive bell. The bell has been fitted with an electronic push button ringer.

Tad Carlson of River Rock Blasting in Motley, works at resurfacing the old NJPA sign. The black granite sign was donated to the city of Staples by Sourcewell and is being prepared for use in the construction of our “POW/MIA”‘ memorial in the Staples All Veterans Park

Working together to provide a park to honor and remember those veterans and individuals who served and defended their nation and community so well. To offer an educational opportunity for all members of the community to learn more about those that have defended and served their country and community.
